MEV Camp offers a unique opportunity for Solana developers and quantitative traders to collaborate, innovate, and experiment in a highly focused environment. It is designed to extend the energy and ideas of the BreakPoint conference into actionable projects centered around DeFi.

The innovator’s dilemma paired with an anarchist despise / lack of understanding for real-world finance has turned immutable ledgers into a parallel universe of simplified solutions that lack any practical application. The once so passionate investors in our technological pipe dream have turned into gamblers and grifters as they need to generate hype for ideas without any substance, while the nerds are busy in the ivory tower working on infrastructure to scale solutions without a problem.
The third year of MEV Camp, a change in focus. Always an event for builders and traders that believe in the vision of a permissionless financial system beyond meme coins, KOL shills and rug pulls. These are not the assets we desire, but the ones we truly deserve. While our customers are glued to the charts, their desire is clear: Sell the Top.
Like in the bear so in the bull, let’s not get distracted and focus on what matters. Finance and Engineering must provide solutions that meet people’s needs. Experiments & Prototypes allow us to test ideas and concepts in the shortest possible time. We invite you to form a team either before or spontaneously on-site and dedicate 48 hours to such an experiment.
We ask you to be pragmatic, it’s a short period of time and the goal is to maximize learning. Results don’t need to be fully functional, bug free, audited or in particularly visual, but they should aim to generate knowledge. To support each other, we will share code, ideas and results from our experiments freely, but we commit to not publish them with our names attached outside.
